How do my clients pay me?

If your Yotta Pay account is on one of our paid or Pay as you go business plans, you can accept payments directly from customers’ mobile banking app, so they don’t need to install Yotta Pay. There are a few options available for your customers to pay:

  • Scanning a QR code;
  • Clicking the payment link generated by your Yotta Pay app;
  • Using one of our ethical payments™ terminals.

Either way, your clients will be redirected to a payment page in their default browser app, where they can pay you in two clicks.


For the QR code payment option:

  1. Use the Receive button on the Yotta Pay homepage, type in the payment details, click Generate QR and show it to our client.
  2. The client needs to open the camera app and point the camera at your screen.
  3. A notification will then pop up, which will automatically redirect your customer to a payment page in his mobile device browser.


For payment via a payment link:

  1. Use the Receive button on the Yotta Pay homepage, type in the payment details, click Share link, and send it to your client via the desired channel.
  2. The client needs to open the link.
  3. The payment page will be opened in the mobile device browser immediately.


If the client wants to pay via one of our terminals:

  1. Scan the QR code by opening the camera and pointing it on the terminal or tap the phone on top of the terminal (using NFC).
  2. Click on a notification popped up and pay via an open amount payment page in their browser.
